Mobile since her birth in Singapore, Caroline Davis now lives in Brooklyn, New York. She has shared musical moments with a diverse group of musicians, including Matt Wilson, Ellis Marsalis, Bobby Broom, Greg Saunier, Matt Mitchell, Ron Miles, Dennis Carroll, Erin McKeown, Randy Brecker, Allison Miller, Jenny Owen Youngs, and Billy Kaye. Caili, a native Oregonian, has received national awards for jazz piano performance and composition from Downbeat Magazine as well as an ASCAP Foundation Young Jazz Composer award. She has performed with various jazz groups at the Monterey Jazz Festival, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Kimmel Center (opening for pianist Martial Solal), Panama Jazz Festival (opening for the Wayne Shorter Quartet), Guinness Cork Jazz Festival, and UNESCO First International Jazz Day, as well as two US State Dept. supported tours to Colombia and Togo and Benin in West Africa. She released her debut album entitled Padme in 2015.
